Not much has changed since my last post almost a month ago - the holidays were full of grey skies and rainy days (only one morning of snow, which had then melted by the afternoon). With this dreariness set to last for the next four to five months, I'm ready to go straight to summer. I usually love spring here, with its blooming flowers and greenery, but with three months of this weather already under our belt, I'm not sure I can hang in there for that many more. So I'm dreaming of a summer holiday already - I'm picturing beaches, bike rides and sea breezes. What better shoe to be wearing for that than some super-summery espadrilles in bright, ice-cream colors? I may need to buy these now just to wear around the apartment in attempt to fight the inevitable spring funk that's likely to hit early this year. Summer and sun - I'm waiting...
