Holiday-perfect shoes

With all the 'slippers' (aka - the loafers that look like old men's slippers) making a big splash on the fashion scene lately, I must say I feel a little let down. Much like my feelings about UGGs, why would I want to get dressed up nice to go out and then put something that looks like you're padding around your living room on to leave the house? Believe me, I love a sleek flat as much as the next girl, but something about this style felt a little... lacking. That is, until I ran across these. Almost a cross between these smoking slippers and loafers, the rich suede, penny-holder detailing and sparkly gold glitter panel make these feel like so much more than a slipper and the perfect shoe for holiday soirées. Wonder if I can get my husband to pick me up a pair while he's in London this week... (doubtful)
